Typlet 1.0.0 — Snippets and AutoText in one lightweight utility

Typlet is a lightweight macOS and Windows utility for recurring text. The Free snippet popup stays unlimited. Pro AutoText observes the physical-key sequence behind an ASCII trigger, so a saved trigger works without switching the active Korean, Japanese, or other input method to English.

  • Free: unlimited snippets, search, editing, import/export, and user-selected folder sync
  • Pro: system-wide AutoText, per-app exclusions, and input-language-independent physical-key triggers
  • 14-day trial: begins only after AutoText is successfully turned on, not at installation
  • Privacy first: no account, telemetry, advertising, or mandatory cloud; local storage by default
  • Safe upgrade: Free data is independent from license state, and the previous data folder is kept

Scope of 1.0

Triggers cover standard printable QWERTY physical-key positions: 2–32 ASCII characters beginning with a non-alphanumeric prefix such as ; : or /. Arbitrary key remaps, secure input fields, rich text, variables, and cursor placeholders are outside the 1.0 scope.
