1. Product
Typlet is desktop software for macOS and Windows that inserts saved text through a snippet popup and, with Pro, through AutoText triggers. Availability of each platform build is stated on the download page. A platform must not be assumed available before its build is published there.
2. Free and Pro
Typlet Free has no snippet limit and no expiry. It includes the snippet popup, search, editing, import and export, and selected-folder sync. Pro adds system-wide AutoText and per-application exclusions. Free is not reduced in order to sell Pro.
3. License
A Typlet Pro purchase grants one person a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pro on up to 3 active devices in any supported macOS and Windows combination. You may deactivate a device you have replaced or discarded and activate another in its place. You may not share, resell, rent, or sublicense one license among several people; teams and organizations need one license per user.
4. Trial
A 14-day Pro trial begins the first time AutoText is successfully turned on, not when Typlet is installed, and requires no payment details. When it ends, only AutoText stops. Snippets, search, editing, sync, import and export, and the popup keep working.
5. Price and updates
The approved regular price is USD 19.99, charged once. A USD 14.99 launch price applies through 2026-12-31; from 2027-01-01 the regular price applies. The launch period will not be extended based on early sales. The purchase covers continued use of the major version you bought. A later major version may be an optional paid upgrade; the version you own does not stop working because of it. Taxes and currency conversion, if any, are shown by the checkout provider.
6. Purchase, payment, and refunds
Purchases will be processed by a hosted merchant of record, which issues the receipt and handles tax. You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, and the policy shown on your receipt applies to your order. A full refund disables the license key, after which Pro validation stops. A partial refund may be a price adjustment rather than a cancellation, so it is reviewed individually instead of disabling the license automatically. Nothing in these terms limits a longer or stronger cancellation, refund, warranty, or consumer right required by the law that applies to you. If the product was materially different from its description, contact support even after the ordinary window.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use Typlet to break privacy, intellectual-property, access-control, employment, or other laws. You are responsible for having permission to insert, store, and synchronize the text you save. Do not attempt to bypass the device limit or trial, distribute modified installers as Typlet, or interfere with license verification.
8. Your data and backups
Your snippets are yours. Typlet stores them in your operating system's application-data folder and, if you enable it, in a sync folder you choose. Typlet does not promise that an external cloud provider will synchronize that folder instantly or without conflicts. Keep independent backups of text you cannot lose.
9. Third-party services
Operating-system services, download hosting, cloud sync folders, and payment processing are provided by third parties under their own terms. Typlet is not responsible for outages or policy changes outside its control, and will not use those limits to reduce rights that applicable law makes mandatory.
10. Availability and changes
Typlet may add, change, or retire features for safety, compatibility, or maintainability. Material changes to paid rights or to these terms will be posted before they take effect, except where a security or legal need makes a shorter notice reasonably necessary.
11. Warranty and liability
Typlet is provided with the care reasonably expected of commercial desktop software. To the maximum extent allowed by law it is otherwise provided without implied promises that it will be uninterrupted or will fit every workflow, and Typlet is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
12. Governing law and contact
The laws of the Republic of Korea govern these terms, without removing mandatory consumer protections or the courts available where you live. Questions, refund requests, and legal notices may be sent to the support address below.
